Her family and friends will always remember her as a kind gentle soul as well as a patron of the arts.He would talk of many memories from the different places he lived, but his fondest memories were spent in Montana at the 'Schmaus House' with his Grandpa Carl, Grandma Margaret, and brother, Scott. Rich worked as a mechanic, machinist, roustabout, and laborer while living in Gillette. After moving to South Dakota, Rich was very involved in the AA program.Many a story was told of the trouble Rich and Scott would get into all in the name of having fun and picking up cans with Grandma Margaret. He touched many lives while being active in AA and will always be remembered by those people he helped.His parents were Thomas and Sharon (Schmaus) Griffith.Rich attended several elementary schools while growing up as he moved around with his family in South Dakota, Oregon, and Wyoming. Rich enjoyed hunting/trapping, fishing, working on vehicles, and helping many people.Charlie's favorite things included riding his motorcycle, drag racing, Ford and Coca-Cola collectibles, filling his garage with tools and projects, listening to gospel music, researching war history, going to movies, and serving his family.
